NUTR 310 Professional Practice Stage 2A

The nutrition care process, clinical reasoning and documentation for the medical record. Preparation for the application of knowledge in practice, for clinical nutrition and food service administration rotations, will be addressed.

Prerequisites

NUTR 209.; Fall term U2 required Dietetics Major courses This course has an additional course fee of $136.30 to cover the purchase of clinical nutrition cases from the Nutrition Care Professionals website (www.nutritioncarepro.com) that provides realistic, evidence based training on the International Nutrition Care Process and nutrition assessment tools for dietetics students around the world. These cases will be accessible to students for a period of 18 months after activation, so resources and cases can be consulted as they continue their program.
